Animation and design studio
BVL productions is a company that focuses on animation and design in 2D and 3D. Founded in Haarlem in 2020 after graduating from the Media College Amsterdam in AV motion design. My skillset is very diverse. From logos to explainemations to 3D models and aniamtions.
ABOUT ME
From a young age I have always been busy building, making and creating things. Building with lego, drawing and inventing my own stories. Later this all became digital through video games where I could release this creativity, such as the popular video games Minecraft and Age of empires. Later I was able to express all this creativity in all kinds of different forms, such as 2D animations, 3D animations and design.
EDUCATION
After primary school I went to Haarlem College. Halfway through the 2nd grade I had to choose a course of study. I chose Graphics Media. This was a combination of Printmedia, Multimedia and Audio Visual. Here I learned the basics of Photoshop. After high school I went to the Media College and chose the direction of all-round AV (audio visual). I chose this because I liked photography. In the 2nd year I learned some animation tricks from school, which I thought was really cool. Halfway through the 2nd grade we had to choose a specialization. This meant that you would receive further training in that field. Because of my previous experience with animation, I chose the direction of motion design. During the training I found out that at school I did not learn quickly and sufficiently about animation. I therefore chose to learn as much as possible about animation and design at home in my own time. For my final exam I also received an animation assignment. In this assignment I had to make an explanation video for the police vice team. Fortunately, everything went fine and I passed the AV course with the specialization in motion design. After I finished school, I chose to first do some extra self-study and then develop and make my business plan (which I made for the exam of entrepreneurial skills ) a reality. Now I have been an independent entrepreneur since 01-09-2020.
